Eat...Drink...Eat Some More!

With a sophisticated and upscale ambiance, TENDER Steak & Seafood at Luxor Hotel and Casino presents a new wine and cheese menu to offer guests an exquisite tasting experience beginning Sunday, March 4.

For smooth white or red tastings by the glass, guests will enjoy two glasses priced at $8 or four glasses priced at $15. For white wine pairing options, the menu features selections including Chateau St. Michelle Eroica Riesling 2008, Ravenswood Chardonnay 2006, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2010, William Hill Chardonnay 2008 or a Cakebread Chardonnay 2008. For the red wine selection, guests will enjoy selections of a Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Mac Murray Ranch Pinot Noir 2008, Ferrari-Carano Merlot 2006, Beaujolais Georges Duboeuf 2008, Apothic Blend 2009 or a Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006.

With a mix of Mexican culture and Vegas flair, Executive Chef Saul Ortiz will stir up an authentic Mariachi Brunch for Easter Sunday at Tacos and Tequila (T&T) on Sunday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Luxor Hotel and Casino. In true Mexican style, a high-energy Mariachi band will spice up the fiesta as they serenade guests.

For the main course, diners can enjoy Alaskan Halibut poached in olive oil, crawfish etoufee and crispy okra or Pan Roasted Duck Breast served with polenta, wild greens and cherry-foie gras jus. Diners can enjoy a tasty Berry or Vanilla Gelato or Lemon Sorbet to complete the meal for dessert.
It’s that time of the year again when the National Football League drafts the top college picks to advance their careers to the big time. Partygoers can join PBR Rock Bar & Grill from Thursday, April 26, until Saturday, April 28, for all the NFL draft action commemorated with unmatched drink specials.

Las Vegas’ original Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” and Las Vegas headliner, Rick Faugno will be reading to four 4th grade classes (approximately 150 children) in honor of Neil C. Twitchell Elementary School’s extension of Nevada Reading Week.

Faugno will speak of his mother who was a teacher and his career on Broadway, in film, and in Las Vegas, and how reading has played such an important role in his life.
