Silverton Casino Hotel is joining hands with the Las Vegas community to take the steps needed to help the local non-profit organization, Opportunity Village. Starting April 1, for every person who “likes” the Silverton Facebook Page during the month of April, the property will donate $1 per “like” up to $2,500 to Opportunity Village, which is the non-profit organization that supports the intellectually challenged.

Silverton’s inspiration to do this came from Penn Jillette, Las Vegas headliner who recently raised $40,000 for Opportunity Village during his time on the show “Celebrity Apprentice.” The Facebook page can be found under “Silverton Casino.”

Due to overwhelming demand for the soon-to-be sold-out performance at Aliante Station on April 13, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals have added a second Las Vegas performance, taking place on Friday, April 20 at Ovation inside Green Valley Ranch Resort. Tickets for the second performance go on-sale on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 10 a.m.

Rock Bar & Grill at the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will treat patrons to a specialty menu in honor of the Cinco de Mayo holiday on Saturday, May 5.

Five will be the lucky number in Sin City as patrons will score some of the Strip-side eatery’s most popular food and drink selections that will be served as small plates and priced at only $5 all day. The affordable menu will feature PBR Rock Bar favorites including BBQ Potato Chip Nachos, Queso Con Carne Dip with Tortilla Chips; Chicken and Cheese Enchiladas; Fresh Corn on the Cob, garnished with mayo, parmesan, butter and chili powder; and Cheese Quesadillas.

Adult film actress Tabitha Stevens will take the hot seat at Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub for a live interview with “On Air with Robert & CC” on Friday, March 23.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet Stevens, who has starred in more than 200 adult films and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2007, when she arrives to the ultra-dive bar at 7 p.m. for her up close and personal interview.
