To celebrate Dia De Las Madres, Tacos & Tequila has created a special brunch menu for families to enjoy, priced at $25 per person, on Sunday, May 13, at Luxor Hotel and Casino.

Moms will begin the decadent three-course menu with a choice of Albondigas Soup, Chopped Salad or Caesar Salad. For the second course, mothers will enjoy the option of Chorizo-Potato Relleno with a spicy Salsa Verde sauce and two eggs any style or Chicken Sabana, a grilled, pounded chicken breast made with sautéed onions, poblanos, chile morita sauce, black beans, avocado and pico de gallo, served with a side of beans and rice. Moms will love the perfect pairing for brunch with the Mother’s Day drink special featuring unlimited Patron XO Coffee, priced at $10.

In association with the 8th Annual Las Vegas Highland Games taking place this weekend at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs in northwest Las Vegas, Fremont Street Experience invites Las Vegas locals and visitors to Get Your Scottish, Irish and Welsh On with free entertainment downtown on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. The Las Vegas Celtic Society began the annual celebration to honor Celtic culture and tradition. Fremont Street Experience will join the celebration by hosting free concerts along with pipe and drum parades both days. On Friday at 7:30 p.m., the Desert Skye Pipe Band and the 3rd Marine Corps Aircraft Wing Band and Saturday at 8:30 p.m., the US Champion Pipe Band the L.A. Scots and the 3rd Marine Corps Aircraft Wing Band will parade five blocks from Hennessey’s to the 1st Street Stage. C. Fazel, executive chef of TENDER Steak & Seafood at Luxor Hotel and Casino, has created a special prix fixe menu priced at $49 per person in honor of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13.

Mothers and their families will begin the delicious three-course menu with a choice of Hearts of Romaine and Baby Romaine Caesar Salad made with garlic anchovy dressing, parmesan crisps and focaccia croutons or Maine Lobster Bisque.
Television star, Joey Lawrence, will party in Las Vegas for his birthday at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas on Saturday, April 28. The hunky actor will celebrate turning 36 and surround himself with his fans inside the luxurious nightclub in Sin City.

Today, Lawrence can be seen starring on the number one ABC Family series “Melissa & Joey,” co-starring Melissa Joan Hart. After a successful first season appealing to over 2 million viewers, season two is set to be released in the summer of 2012. In addition to starring on the show, Lawrence also holds Executive Producer credits and directed an episode for season two.

Hot mamas will devour the sizzling roll, priced at $18, made with salmon, asparagus, spicy shrimp, spicy tuna and puff rice served with a tasty spicy mayo sauce. Guests will give mom a sweet kiss with the “Mama Son’s Kiss” specialty cocktail made with Ketel One Oranje Vodka, Yuzu liqueur, muddled strawberries and sweet lemon juice, priced at $11.
