Vegas Never Rests

Around 350 will be attending the Las Vegas Hospitality Association’s (LVHA) Staff Appreciation Luncheon at Encore on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, which is National Administrative Professionals’ Day. LVHA members will bring as their guests the people who support them every day at work and treat them to a gourmet lunch prepared by the Wynn Executive Chefs. Each administrative professional will get a gift and there will be lots of fabulous raffle prizes including dinners, shows and getaways. Entertainment will be by the cast of “Le Reve.”

Flamingo Las Vegas will inspire summer romance with a brand new poolside wedding package. Summer Love, a customizable ceremony package, will feature a serene, twilight ceremony at the stunning Crescendo pool. With accommodations for up to 80 guests, the enchanting package will be available for booking from May 1 through September 10 with an 8 p.m. ceremony time.

Priced at $25 per person, dads will begin the delicioso three-course menu with a choice of Albondigas Soup, Chopped Salad or Caesar Salad. For the main course, fathers will enjoy the option of the Chorizo-Potato Relleno with a spicy salsa verde sauce and two eggs any style or Carne Asada Steak with home fries and two eggs any style.


Chateau Nightclub & Gardens’ top industry night, Candy Shop Tuesdays, will team up with Red Bull to present a very special evening with dubstep wizard, 12th Planet, on May 1. The night will bring 12th Planet’s notorious energy to the mega-club as he drops the beats in front of thousands of club-goers for an unforgettable set.

Originally proclaimed by SPIN Magazine as “American Dubstep King,” 12th Planet has carved a path for himself as the premiere maestro of dubstep. Producing original tracks, he has worked with Skrillex, Datsik, Doctor P and more. The innovative DJ will play alongside some of the biggest names in dubstep and other electronic DJs at Electronic Daisy Carnival coming to Las Vegas in June.

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino will rock on Father’s Day with a brunch menu featuring traditional breakfast items and griddle specialties from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday Family Barbecue from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 17.

Dads will wake up this Father’s Day with a choice of delicious egg-style combos like the Scramble of the Day, Steak and Eggs, Chicken Fried Steak or a Build Your Own Omelet all served with a side of breakfast potatoes and toast. Lynyrd Skynkyrd BBQ & Beer also will treat dads to specialties on the griddle with breakfast classics like French toast, Waffles or Biscuits and Gravy with sides of bacon, sausage or toast.

Partygoers can get their late night grub on at Cabo Wabo Cantina inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino as the rockin’ hot spot now offers an exclusive and affordable late night food and reverse happy hour menu on Friday and Saturday nights starting at midnight.

The Barrymore at The Royal Resort now offers a decadent prix fixe dinner priced at just $37 for early diners Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The delicious three-course meal, perfect for an after-work bite or dinner before a show, provides guests with the option to select from two delectable items for each course.  Plus, for only $23, wine drinkers can enjoy endless glasses of Benvolio Pinot Grigio, the pairing for the first course, or Three Saints Steakhouse Red, with the pairing for the second course. Guests may also enjoy complimentary soda and coffee with the prix fixe dinner.
